4. Saving Workspace (リビジョン #58)

Working in complex Enterprise environments requires users to open multiple application frames, and numerous Query and SSH windows to do their work. Once a user has configured his workspace, productivity reaches optimal levels.  It is ineffecient and frustrating for users to manually reconfigure their workspace each time the application or Operating System crashes and restarts. It gets even more difficult to create a standard workspace for a user who has to work from office and home or who uses multiple computers. For these reasons, we have now included the functionality to save and reload the user's workspace in Aqua Data Studio v10.0

How to maintain your organized workspace in Aqua Data Studio?

• Users now can select the option to save the current workspace [ Restore windows and tabs ], so that at the end of an Aqua Data Studio session, it is automatically reloaded the next time the application is started. It remembers the the application. windows, editor tab content and workspace layout that were open last.
• With the the new option Prompt User for the window close button, Aqua Data Studio will also confirm the exit of application.
• Enables a simplified application framework that increases development and operational productivity

What's new?

Added new options File->Options->General->Workspace-> in Aqua Data Studio v10.0:

Behavior of window close button   

 Select what happens when you click on the main window Close button.  Either Exit Application, Close Window or Prompt User.

Restore windows and tabs    

 When this option is selected, ADS restores window and tab arrangement on the next start

Confirm exit of application  

 When this option is selected, ADS displays a confirmation before the application exits.
