Charts Toolkit for Grids & Pivot Grids  (Revision #13)

Aqua Data Studio 7.5 has an enhanced Charting Toolkit. The following new Chart Types are introduced in this version:

• Clustered Column Chart - Clustered column charts compare values across categories. The columns are grouped together.


• Stacked Column Chart - A column chart in which multiple series are placed vertically.  Stacked column charts display the relationship of individual portions to the whole, comparing the contribution of each value to a total across categories.


• Clustered Bar Chart - Clustered bar charts compare values across categories. Categories are usually presented along the vertical axis, and values on the horizontal axis.

• Stacked Bar Chart - A bar chart where multiple series are stacked vertically. Stacked bar charts show the relationship of individual items to the whole.


• Stacked Line Chart - Sometimes displayed with markers to hightlight individual data values, stacked line charts  show the trend of the contribution of each value over time.


• Scatter Plot Chart - You can now display values for two variables for a set of data as a collection of points. This enhancement in ADS 7.5 displays each point, having the value of one variable determining the position on the horizontal axis and the value of the other variable determining the position on the vertical axis.

• Bubble Chart - A bubble chart displays a set of numeric values as a circles. It is especially useful when the values differ by several orders of magnitude. ADS 7.5 displays data values that differ by a ratio of 100,000 and can display hundreds of individual values at once.


• Open-High-Low-Close chart - Stock market users will find this type of chart useful to depict prices with a open-high-low-close chart. This takes a 3 data series (High, Low, Close).

• Candlestick Chart - You can now use a variation of bar chart to describe price movements of an equity over time. This type of chart plots a 5 series data (Open, Close, Low, High and a relative plot to the prior periods' prices).
