Aqua Data Studio 20.6 has been enhanced with the ability to edit BLOB (Binary Large Object) and CLOB (Character Large Object) values in the Table Data Editor. This feature is available for Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 databases.
In the table cell context menu, we added “Load Content From File” and “Save Content to File” options. These two functions allow you to edit BLOB and CLOB data content by using an external editor or uploading new BLOB or CLOB content.
The ¨Load Content From File¨ function will allow you to take a file from your local file system and upload it to the database.
Use the “Save Content to File” option to save the raw content of a table cell to a file. You can edit the content of the file by using an external editor, such as an image editor for image content or a video editor for video content. After saving your file, use the “Load Content From File” option to upload the edited/new content into the table cell, then, you can save it to the database.
