13. ER Model Enhancements (Revision #97)

The Entity-Relationship (ER) Modeler that is as powerful as even the best standalone database diagramming tools, now allows objects within an ER Model to be renamed.Complex Entity Relationship Diagrams can contain hundreds of entities and relationships. The process of manually editing them to suit individual needs can be tedious, especially if the entites contain dozens of lines of text. Trying to understand them at a glance is difficult to do without vivid visual clues to highlight and organize the relationships and tables. We've made understanding ER Models easier by allowing users to edit even more display properties of the entities and their relationships.

Editable Entity Colors and Region Foreground Colors

The color of Table and View Entities can now be set on a per-entity basis by changing it within the Property Appearance tab. Regions now allow their text color to be altered with Foreground color selection.

Auto-Fit Entities

Selected entities can be automatically resized to fit their contents, by using the menu Edit -> Auto-Fit or the keystroke Alt+.

Generate Script

Now there is a statement separator option for "@" just like Schema Script Generator.
