6. Import and Export Tool Enhancements (Revision #16)

Import: Import file read speed has been improved and allows a selection of three choices to assist with how the database transactions occur during import:

• Full - the method used by Aqua Data Studio 9.0 with one transaction per row.
• Batch - for choosing the number of rows to import in a single transaction.
• Threshhold - for setting a commit to the database every desired number of seconds.

Export: Export now allows exporting multiple tables at once into a folder, each table becoming a file within that folder. Data is now buffered during export to assist with database transactions and increasing export speed.
