Visual Analytics adds several sorting enhancements in 18.0. Two new sorting options enable users to sort data based on the aggregation function of any field or manually in the desired order. In addition, sorting is now possible from the toolbar, chart tooltips, and most row and column headers.
Sorts data based on the aggregation values of the specified field. The following example shows product categories based on profits but sorted according to the average value of the tax amount.
Sorts data in the desired order by letting you control the order in which data appears in the chart view.
