Sybase ASE Storage Manager (Revision #12)

With Aqua Data Studio 7.5 you can plan, initialize, allocate, manage, and tune Sybase ASE database objects for better performance

New enhanced Object Tab in Aqua Data Studio 7.5 displays:

• Detailed information of Segments
• High-level storage information of Tables which helps in tracking growth. This includes Table Name, Schema, Segment, Type, Row Count, Reserved Size, Data Size, Index Size, Unused Size, Lock Type and Created Date
• Index storage that now includes Index Name, Index Type, Segment, Table Name, Index Size, Reserved Size, Unused Size, Data Size, Clustered, Unique and Created Date. You can quickly identify whether indexes are not created on Tables participating in SQL Queries
• Overall Object Storage information. You can sort and quickly identify which Table or Index takes up more space. You can configure Storage and eliminate wasted storage

Table Name: Name of the database object
Schema Name: Owner of the table
Segment: Name of the table segment
Type: Whether Sytem or User Table
Row Count: Number of rows in the table
Reserved: reports the amount of space that has been allocated to all the tables that have been created in the database
Data: shows how much space has actually been used by data
Indexes: shows how much space has actually been used by indexes
Unused: shows the amount of space that has been reserved but not yet used by existing table
Created Date: Date on which the table was created
Lock Type: Lock Type of the table

Type = Index

Index Name: Name of the index object
Index Schema: Owner of the Index
Table Name: Name of the database object
Segment: Name of the table segment
