Version Control (Revision #36)

Version Control enhancements include multi select menu actions for objects in the Scripts Browser, Reusable commit comments, and the new Repository Browser. The Repository Browser allows you to view all of the contents and history of a repository, whether you have a local mount associated with it or not. Revisions, branches and tags are displayed in the latest version  and we have options to filter these.

New functionalities in the latest release

• Display – We have moved pop up menu items ’Update’ and ’Commit’ from Version Control sub menu to the top level.
• Re-use -  We have added an option to reuse recent commit comments. This is now available in a drop-down.
• Multiple Selection support -  A new option for multiple selection support for the script tree (delete, update, commit, refresh, VC: add, delete)
• Compare -  A new menu item to allow comparison of two directories or files is available.
• Output – We have enhanced options for faster access, display and results. In-line difference indicators display modifications between the current edit and the latest update from the repository in all editors.
