Smarter SQL, HTML, XML & Text Editors (Revision #40)

You spend a lot of time in the Aqua Data Studio editors, and in version 7 they work even better. Abbreviation and auto-completion support is included, as well as the ability to see in-line differences visually for version control.

Editor Enhancements

• Abbreviations support in all editors, allowing you to configure specific shortcut abbreviations that expand into full text (e.g. sel -> select * from mytable).
• Enhanced Auto Completion for code completion.
• Incremental Search; use CTRL + F to find and highlight items quickly in any editor.
• See color-coded, in-line differences in version control that make it easy to identify inserted and modified text.

Editor : New functionalities

• Abbreviations Support -  Repeatedly used long strings can now be abbreviated. Any abbreviation can now be keyed in, and with a single click on the tab the entire text will be expanded. This function is now also supported in the SQL, Text, HTML and XML editors.
• Auto Completion – New enhanced features for Code Completion.
• Incremental Search – New feature to find items. You can use (CTRL+ F) for quick access to this feature in any Editor . The Editor will highlight the text you want to find.
• Subversion and CVS  - New features to identify Source control In-Line Differences. You can easily identify Inserted and Modified text with the new incorporation of coloring scheme.
