Visual Editor - Table (Revision #32)

The Table Visual Editor has been completely reworked and redesigned. Extremely detailed Permissions are now available for Visually Creating and Altering Tables.

• GUI enhancements

            Column Extended properties, Constraint Extended properties and Storage iformation for a table are now displayed using new Option Sheets, and the information is categorised, sortable and expandable.

• Enhanced Column Extended Properties

             Now, more Column Details can be specified for a column in the General Tab when creating or altering a table, for various Server types.

• New Constraint Extended Properties

             Now, Constraint Details can be specified for Primary and Foreign keys, Unique and Check constraints in the Constraints Tab when creating a table, for various Server types.

• New Storage Information

             Now, Storage information for a table can be specified in the new Storage Tab when creating or altering a table, for various Server types. Description area provides explanations for selected terms.

• New Table Comments

             Now, comments for a table can be specified in the new Comments Tab when creating or altering a table, for Server types that support table comments.

• New Table Permissions

             Now, permissions for a table and table columns can be specified for different grantees in the new Permissions Tab when altering a table, for Server types that support table and column permissions.

• New Popup Menues for Columns and Constraint

             Now, Column and Constraint tables have popup menues with INSERT and DELETE, that allow to insert or delete a column or a constraint.
