Visual Editor - Table (Revision #46)

Being able to visually create and alter tables and properties is very time saving by hiding the hard to remember DDL and options for specific databases.  The newly redesigned visual editor for tables now includes complete options for all tables accross all databases such as comments, permissions, storage options and extended properties for columns and constraints.

GUI enhancements : New with ADS version 7.0

The Visual Editor for Table has been completely reworked and redesigned. You can now find Column Extended properties, Constraint Extended properties and Storage information for a table. These options can be  now categorized, sortable and expandable.

• Column Extended Properties – New options for Column Details can be specified while using Create Table or Alter Table GUI. You can find these new options in (General Tab-> Column).
• Constraint Extended Properties  - New options for Constraint Details can be specified for Primary and Foreign keys, Unique and Check constraints when creating a table. You can find this in (Constraint Tab -> Constraint Details).
• Storage Information - New options for Storage information for a table. You can find a new (Storage Tab). Description area provides explanations for all the parameters.
• Table Comments - New option to add meta data in a table. You can find a new (Comments Tab).
• Table Permissions - New options to Add / Revoke permissions for a table and table columns. You can find a new (Permissions Tab).
• Advanced Editing - New options to Insert / Delete columns or constraints. You can find a new pop-up menu with these two options in (General / Constraints Tab).
