Charting Tool - Grid & Pivot  (Revision #35)

Charts can be saved as a JPG or PNG image by right clicking within it. Only what is viewable within the chart pane becomes an image. Although the chart can easily be exported to a spreadsheet application for further modification and sharing, users can save as an image without having to export to Excel or Open Office first. Multi series axes options help visualize even more information than possible with the previous chart tools. Charts now automatically populate the Category and Series within dropdowns that make chart generation faster.

Chart Options

• Now inlcudes Chart Width setting for altering the chart size.
• The chart type can be set per series by clicking on the individual series in the Legend.
• Ability to set the gap between Series and Category, to allow more space between them.
• Ability to set the font and size of labels.
• Ability to set the background colors to solid, or gradient fills.
• Ability to enable/disable software rendering for legacy hardware or Virtualized OS (VMWare) users.

Pressing Ctrl and dragging the view now moves it side to side or up and down.  Pressing Shift and dragging zooms in and out.

All chart types can be used in combination by Series, except for Pie and Stacked. Chart type can be selected from within the chart Legend by left clicking individual Series.
