Overview

The Admin -> System Settings tab provides a central place to configure Aqua Data Server. This tab displays all system settings that can be configured via the application GUI. We recommend that you perform this configuration immediately after successfully installing the application. 

The database repository connection information and Session Timeout value cannot be configured via the GUI and hence are not displayed in the System Settings GUI.

Moving the mouse over the information icon shows a description of the particular setting.

Edit System Settings

To edit a setting click the Edit icon in the Action Bar. The "Restore Defaults" button populates the GUI with the out-of-box values that Aqua Data Server ships with. These values are not saved to the database unless you click "Save".   If this is the first time you are editing system settings, we recommend you configure your SMTP server information and the Site URL. With this information Aqua Data Server can send out new user and password reset emails.
