You can generate an ER Modeler from DDL Scripts, allowing conversion of database commands into diagrams. There are two methods of Reverse Engineering within Aqua Data Studio. Importing a database is accomplished through the ER Modeler Menu Bar under Tools->Import Database. Within the Main Application Menu of Aqua Data Studio Tools->Generate ER Diagram can be used for Reverse Engineering. An object in the Schema Browser can also be right clicked for Tools->Generate ER Diagram. Import Database.

To convert database scripts into a Diagram 1. Select "ER Diagram Generator" from the Tools Menu 2. Select the desired schema objects you want in the diagram 3. Click on Next to initialize the ER Diagram Generator. 4. View its status for errors and elapsed time The resulting Model contains all of the database Objects within the database. |
