A Pie Chart requires 1 or more Dimensions and 1 or more Measures.
To create a Pie chart
1. Execute a select * within the Query Analyzer on the bistudio_example.xlsx file.
2. Click the [Visual Analytics] button in the Grid Results.
3. Drag Freight from Measures into the Rows Deck.
4. Choose [Pie] in the Chart Properties Type dropdown.
5. Drag Card Type into the [Color] button within the Chart Properties.
6. Click [Label] button within the Chart Properties and check [Show Percentage].
The card types and their percentage display for each pie slice. A legend for these colors appears below the Chart Properties.
You can configure a hole in the center of the chart. The hole adds to the visualization experience of the Pie chart. Depending on the need, you can increase or decrease the size of the rings.

By default, Visual Analytics sorts the dimension record of the Pie Chart alphabetically in the ascending order. You can now sort the chart by measure values in the ascending or descending order.
