Windows Launcher (Revision #32)

A new Windows launcher lets you set Aqua Data Studio’s launching configuration, including memory allocation, heap size, etc. This can be accomplished by editing the datastudio.ini file.

Executable : datastudio.exe

• Version 7.0 contains a new Windows launcher. This executable is datastudio.exe

Configuration Settings : datastudio.ini

• Aqua Data Studio can now be configured to suite individual preferences. Any configuration preferences can be edited in the datastudio.ini file.
   

 Default INI file for Aqua Data Studio:

# JVM Properties
vm.location=.\jre\bin\client\jvm.dll

# Specify a proportion of the available physical memory to use (ie. relates to -Xmx arg). 
# For example, vm.heapsize.max.percent=75. Note that this will use the maximum memory possible.
