Open Recent: Aqua Data Studio now supports a "Recently Opened" menu item in the File menu. This stores the last 10 files that have been opened, so the user can quickly access any recently opened files.

Generate Template Script: This feature enables to ... en masse[TBD: ask]. To use this feature, select multiple objects in the schema browser and right mouse click and choose "Generate Template Script.". You can now enter the SQL statement that you want generated for each selected object. For example, in MySQL you can multi select tables and indicate a template of "OPTIMIZE TABLE {OBJECT_NAME}", and the Template Script generator will generate a script with a list of SQL statements for each object selected.

New "Form" Results Tab : Displays database results as records with column names on the left and value on the right, as if the information was appearing in a form. Next and Previous buttons allow cycling through the records. Records can also be viewed by entering a record number.

Configurable Query Results Pane: The Query Results Pane now allows the user to rearrange the result type tabs (Text, Grid, Pivot Grid, Form, etc) in the order desired. The order of the tabs will persist accross appliction restarts. This allows the user to choose the result types desired and choose the primary results tab in the first tab location as the default result to view.

Script all Object Permissions for User: Scripting GRANT and REVOKE DDL for all Object Permissions for User can now be done with Script Object to Window, Script Object to New Window As and Script Object to File As. Below is a list of the database vendors the DDL scripting for User Object Permission GRANT / REVOKE works with. (NIELS: please note http://10.168.1.17:8081/do/home/project/aquadatastudio/issue/2547 )
(Note: Some databases do not support revoke permission from table/view at column level. Some databases will keep granted permissions in the system data dictionary after user is dropped.)

Global Date, Time, and Date/Time, Number Group Separator and Decimal Point Format Options: Within Options -> General -> Appearance it is possible to set the appearance of Date, Time and Date/Time formatting through the entire application. Custom formats can be created that carry over to the rest of the application. Number group separator and decimal point format options allow formatting for Indian number groupings like 1.234.567,89 and 1,00,000 लाख (Lakh).

Execute commands on multiselected database objects: When multiple items are selected from within the Schema Browser, it's now possible to create a template script that will run on each selected object. With this feature several Oracle Indexes can be rebuilt simultaneously from a single templated script via a multiselect menu.
