Aqua Data Server Application Logs
Aqua Data Server application logs provide important information about system settings and application errors.
Log files must be provided to AquaFold support team along with the support request.
Aqua Data Server logs can be found at the Admin->System Status tab of Aqua Data Server. They consist of the following files:
This is a collection of log files that contain information dealing with continuous operations of the application. The length of the log file can be limited by time or size.
By default, a rolling file logger is always enabled to write to <USER_HOME>/.aquadataserver/logs/aquadataserver.log (Where <USER_HOME> is the username of the OS account from where Aqua Data Server is launched.)
This logger is configured to write up to 3 files of up to 300KB each, using "%d{M/d HH:mm:ss.SSS} %C{1}.%M %m%n layout (Logging month/day).
This displays information on Aqua Data Server's most recent launch, including version number, date, time, Java version, memory use, system CPU count and file encoding.
Alternatively the log files can be downloaded by right-clicking and choosing "Save Link As" on the file link in the web browser interface of Aqua Data Server's Admin->System Status section.
