Editors & Viewers

Aqua Data Studio editors are a powerful tool for creating and modifying your scripts and other source code. Aqua Data Studio supports SQL, AquaScript, Text, HTML, XML, JavaScript and Java Editors.

You can open a new editor in multiple ways:

On the Aqua Data Studio Toolbar, click . From the additional drop-down list, open the desired editor.
To open a new Query Analyzer tab, select the database on which you want to execute a query and then press CTRL/Command+Q.

You can open an existing file in an editor in multiple ways:

Double-click a file within the Schema/Files Browser to open it in its associated editor within a new tab.
Files dragged from the desktop into Aqua Data Studio will open each in a separate tab.
