For faster access to files, servers, AquaScripts and URLs, the Aqua Data Studio IDE allows creating shortcuts within the application. Shortcuts can be created to Database Server Connections and properties of Server Connections available in the Servers Browser, SSH Connections, files from the Files Browser and AquaScripts from the Projects Browser. Shortcuts are stored in a user defined folder, then shown in the application toolbar. When a shortcut is clicked, Aqua Data Studio opens a relevant editor or viewer for the content it links to. Shortcuts can be opened one at a time, or all at once when they are grouped in folders. If all shortcuts in a folder are opened at once each one opens in a separate tab.
