4. New Database Version Support

Aqua Data Studio v10.0 offers full support for the following databases and versions:

• PostgreSQL 9.0
• Sybase IQ 15.2
• Sybase ASE 15.5
• nCluster 4.6
• Sybase Anywhere 12

What's new?

For Teradata 13.0, we have support for Column level Permissions for INSERT and SELECT. Previously, Teradata 12.0 supported column level permissions for the UPDATE and REFERENCES permissions only.

For Teradata 13.0, new object permissions support

• Create/Drop GLOP (objects: database).
• GLOP Member (objects: database)
• Create Owner Procedure
• Show (objects: database, table)
• Statistics (objects: database, table)
• Connect Through Control (objects: user only)

 For nCluster 4.6 we have added new options to support

• Distribute by Hash | Replication instead of deprecated Partion Key Clause for Create Table GUI
• Column SQL standard Default clause is now supported. Defaults may be declared in CREATE TABLE or ALTER TABLE visual editors in Aqua Data Studio 10.0
• Storage Type option for Create Table GUI
• Alter Table has option in Storage Type to change from Row to Column and vice versa
• Added System folder for Tables and Views
• New tree node which will list Functions and its Schemas (SQL-MR Functions and Privileges)
